Data center decommissioning involves removing IT assets and infrastructure from a Datacenter. Many companies may decide to upgrade hardware, cloud migration, or relocating to a different facility. We begin with an assessment of the Datacenter and create a detail inventory of all equipment including network switches, storage devices, servers and other IT equipment. During the decommissioning process of a data center, clients may ask us to ensure that all drives and SSDs are securely wiped or destroyed/shredded to prevent data breaches.
